Lover of life and all things fantastical, author Alaina Ewing spins tales of youth, romance, and adventure. From science fiction, to new adult, to magical realism, her creations cross genres and allow her to explore her deepest beliefs about humanity. She wrote The Heart-Shaped Emblor, a tale of the Ewlishash—bringers of the light, and authored “Blood of the Mother” that appeared in the anthology Witches, Stitches & Bitches. Her flash has appeared on Every Day Fiction. Watch for her upcoming collection of dark horror.
Alaina lives in the Seattle area with her husband, two boys, two Jack Russells, one Pomeranian, and a Pit named Buster. She volunteers as President and Programming Chair for Cascade Writers, a nonprofit writing workshop. She is also Writing Track lead for Rustycon, second for Westercon 69‘s writing workshop, and under Cascade Writers she’s hosting a mini British based writing workshop at Anglicon.
